Head Up, Feet Flexed

We had our 32 week check-up today for Baby Boy.  He's a mover and a shaker!  While waiting for the doctor today, Jason sat with his hand on my belly and we just laughed as my belly contorted and wiggled from our little man moving around so much.

The nurse did an ultrasound 'just for fun' and his head was up in my ribs, buns straight down and his feet flexed in front of his face!  I guess they call this position 'Frank breech' and it's fairly common for babies to sit like this.  The good doctor assured me that there is plenty of time for Baby to get himself turned around especially since he's so active in the womb.  Let's hope he's right!

Sweet Berry Farm

We took a little trip to Marble Falls (an hour outside of Austin) to partake in some fall fun! We love little family day-trips like this.

7 months preggo here!

Feeding the goats was certainly the highlight of our trip. We got started with a fairly aggressive goat that made Marin nervous.

But then we hit the jackpot with this little baby one that we named 'Brownie.'

Any given Saturday

We have been loving our football Saturdays! Go Huskers!!

Thanks, Nanny for the new Husker dress! It makes getting dressed on game days so much fun!

One of these things is not like the others...

This fall, we started a new round of gymnastics at the YMCA where Goldilocks goes into the gym without Mama. I was very proud of her that she went right into the gym on her first class with no tears or worries!! However, once the class got going, she wasn't too enthused about following along during the 'stretching' portion of the class. She still loves the trampoline and other activities, so we'll have to see if we continue with the next session!

Daddy's Birthday

The Wizard has had a very busy fall to say the least. There have been lots of changes with his company requiring him to be on the road tons (3 out of 4 weeks in September and October!) Between his trips, we snuck in a quiet little birthday celebration for him. Goldilocks and I made one of his favorite desserts--an Oreo Ice Cream cake otherwise affectionately known at our house as 'fudge butt pie.' It never disappoints.

Do you like the head wrap on Goldilocks? She has so much hair that we tie it up after her bath so it doesn't soak her pajamas before bedtime. She's not big on the blow dryer quite yet, so this is the next best thing.

Princess Party

We had great fun dressing up for Princess Olivia's 5th birthday party and playing with all of the other princesses.  There was a surprise guest princess, Princess Abby, who showed all of the little princesses some spiffy dance moves.  Happy Birthday, O!
