This flight back to Nebraska was our easiest one to date with both kids. Sloan is getting to an age where he will watch the iPad or draw for chunks of time without getting too restless.
Marin is our expert traveler. She occupies herself nicely.
Here is Sloan not occupying himself very nicely.
We made it back the night before my Grandma's 95th birthday.
Here is my sweet Grandma Ruthie with my Aunt Linda. Linda takes very good care of my grandma checking in on her daily and making sure she has everything she needs.
It seems like it wasn't that long ago that Grandma was making us cookies and filling her candy drawer with Hubba Bubba and Bubble-licious bubble gum! She still sends birthday cards to all of her grandkids and 30-some great-grandchildren. How fortunate we are to have her!
We got to see my sister and the girls briefly in Norfolk as they had to hustle back to Beatrice for practices and Bob's shoulder surgery. Our time went too fast!!
We were between Norfolk and Columbus trying to see our cousins as much as possible.
Marin loooves to play with Lily and Maddie!
This was Conner and Ashley's train set and they were generous to set it up so that Marin and Sloan could play with it!
The kids had a blast chasing kitties on the farm. Marin took tractor rides with my brother, but Sloan thought Johnny Tractor was too loud...maybe next time!
Milo was giving Sloan kisses! Sloan squealed...
Marin wants a cat so badly. My brother wants to get rid of the farm cats so badly! Ha.
Back in Columbus, the girls decorated cookies with Nana.
Jason went to the Nebraska football game on Friday and then met us in Omaha for the Sonderman Thanksgiving at Happy Hollow Country Club.
His cousin and clone, Brandon.
All of the Cumberland cousins in their Christmas jammies from Nana!
So cute!
